    It is a lovely piece! Just be aware the yellow gold is a bit warm, brassy kind of color, not a neutral gold. I wear a solid yg nameplate necklace everyday and I had hoped 5o wear these together, but the tones clash.

    Hello Whitney, the real 24K gold is more yellow. Its 925 sterling silver plated with pure 24K gold. If you bought a brick of 24K gold, it would be that yellow. What you have there in your other jewelry-is so called “solid real 14K or 18K gold”. 24K solid gold is too soft to make jewelry out of (unless its plating over sterling), so they mix it with other solid metals. Thus, the lighter look. So the irony is that real gold looks like that and mixed gold-looks more “expensive”.

    The stones turned out cute but I am really unhappy with the yellow gold color of the chain. It doesn’t look like the picture online. It’s too… yellow? Idk. I’ll show a picture of how it looks compared to all of my other “yellow gold” jewelry. The chain also feels kind of plasticy and cheap. I am really disappointed and probably won’t wear it until I’m able to get the stones reset into a better chain.
